This month I am spotlighting my hot urban fantasy - Love My Fate
This week's topic is My thoughts on writing Love My Fate.
It was first published as Capri's Fate which is the first title I actually came up with for a book. The other's were decided by my publisher.
I loved the title. It's got a double entendre, but it seems nobody got that but me. Eventually my publisher demanded I change the title because people thought the book was a travel book about the isle of Capri.
My thoughts on that - Read the freaking blurb, people!!!
And check the cover - it was an intimate picture of a man and a woman and the woman was wearing a red bustier. What the f does that have to do with a travel book???
Anyway - I got my rights back, added in a couple of deleted scenes that I felt should have been there, created a new cover and released it under a new title. The double entrendre is still there - just reworked.
I had a lot of fun writing this one. It was the first one I could say was fun. And for that reason, it has a special place in my heart.

What's a woman to do when a voice follows her home and makes mad, passionate love to her?
Daryl Devoré’s quirky paranormal urban fantasy – Love My Fate.
Corporate businesswoman, Capricious Gray, is dragged to a sex toy convention by her best friend. After a mysterious disembodied voice helps her with her purchases, it follows her home. Passion ensues, leaving Capri torn between lust for her fantasy lover and the desperate need for reality in her life.
Thall, son of one of the Fates, harbours the irrepressible need to be with the woman he's desired from afar for years. In order to make her his, once and for all, he must help Capri get past her fears, including the fear of what he represents - a fantasy.
Can fantasy become a reality for these two lovers?
