The Evolution of a Book Cover part 3 - Hmmm - maybe?! #bookcover #romance

Last week I started this 5 part series about the evolution of my latest book cover.

This story was previously released in a box set called LawBreakers. The set has been unpublished and now my story is free to fly again.

I searched for a photo and found one that was ??? - see

I found another that intrigued me - but decided it was too dark and wrong. see -

I kept digging and found an usual design. I hunted around and discovered more.
The female MC has 2 names - so I got on for each initial and also one for the male MC.

Back I went to Canva and tried out a rough draft of what the cover would look like.

This was a rough draft. There needs to be colour behind the letters as the white edge fades away. And the font is too standard. But I was just experimenting. Also, I had wanted a heart linking the initials - R heart M. But I couldn't find a suitable one on Canva and didn't want to go back and dig one out elsewhere. I decided to use my imagination instead. I liked the idea. It unique.
The little red hearts hint about something in the book.
Off I sent it to my friends.
