Happy November.
News. It has been a busy, busy month. With getting the gardens closed down for winter, trying to finish my latest WIP and getting 2 – 2!!! – books ready for release this month. Which leads me to –
Happy Release Day for From Despair to Ecstasy. This is book 3 of the rock star trilogy Two Hearts ~ One Love.

Concerned for his fiancée’s safety, rock star Darien Scott races to Bangkok to protect Erika Bailey, only to discover his brother is missing. Fearing the worst, he contacts his nemesis, Gan, and makes a repulsive deal that will free his brother and protect Erika’s club, The Pink Flamingo. Or so he thinks. When a python and Gan are involved, things go sour, and Darien sinks into a deep depression.
Erika is disheartened by the betrayal of her parents. Her father's destruction of her club and the humiliation of her mother’s drunken behavior have her feeling down, but those are the least of her worries. She has a wedding to plan, but won’t. Having been betrayed too often, she’s scared to trust Darien.
How can Erika prove to herself and Darien that she loves and trusts him? Simple. All she has to do is jump out of a plane.
Now, with a little luck my other release will be out – Nov 15. It is a seasonal Christmas novella – Christmas Notes.
Bonus – You get to learn the title and see the cover 2 weeks before everyone else. Attached to this email is the opening chapter for your enjoyment.
As it is now out - here is the cover.

Can a slice of pizza and a flute erase the ravages of life and allow Giselle and Ethan to fall in love by Christmas?
Collapsing in front the biggest department store in the city on one of the busiest days of the holiday season was not how Giselle imagined her day. Cold and hungry, she trudged through her daily existence wondering if she'd ever find happiness again.
Teenagers. Ethan loved working with them and turning their raw musical talent into something beautiful and rewarding, but that didn't fill the black void in his soul.
Like fate, the songwriters' muse nudged Giselle and Ethan together. But can Giselle overcome her fears and can Ethan get past the darkness that surrounds him, so they can find love?

What’s been happening in my life?
Closed down the flower gardens and vegetable garden for winter. It hasn’t snowed yet. But it will.
This is near us. It shows the beauty of fall in a northern clime.
Also, my daughter and son-in-law bought a house and will be moving in the day before US Thanksgiving. I am hoping to fly down and help. Moving is a chaotic enough time as it is, but right before a big holiday!!!
Well - the move did occur and yay they are now in their new home and mother (me) is exhausted from unpacking!
Also, in December – my daughter and son-in-law are having their official wedding. The pandemic caused some issues but now that the border is open and everyone in the family is able to travel – the official wedding can occur.
Author friend. I don’t have an author friend to highlight this newsletter as I was hoping to be more into the Story Origins and having other newsletters to highlight, but my VA got sick and was told to take time off. So, all of that got put on hold.
Otherwise – next newsletter will be around the beginning of January. I won’t promise Jan 1, but I’ll try to be close.
